The Crescent

The Crescent is an energy-efficient stand-alone building situated in the 'wedge' of the Bryanston commercial node and perfectly positioned on the N1 Freeway at the William Nicol Offramp. Full branding and signage opportunities are on offer from the eastern and western facades which face directly onto the N1 Freeway. An extensive refurbishment awaits this property. Currently, the building boasts a third of its total power consumption via a Solar PV system installed on the roof. The building toilets utilize “grey water” which will reduce the demand for municipal water supply. The property has had a borehole sunk which will provide the water required by the property’s garden irrigation system. All external windows of the office space are double glazed using insulated performance glass on the inner skin and tinted glass on the outer skin further to mitigate the effects of sun exposure on the building. East and west-facing windows on the building have been virtually eliminated to further reduce heat gain in the building and further contribute to preserving ambient temperatures within the offices themselves.
